I spoke with the Glock California LEO Rep. I guess glock will start making all 3rd gens in the USA this year. I want a 3rd gen glock 20 made in american.

One more thing...I think the recoil spring (Dual Spring) is going to be difficult for GLOCK to perfect on the heavy slide G20. I've heard good reports on the Glock 21 from a few sources, but shooting .45 is not the same as running hot loads in 10MM. I guess we can wait and see..


Glockstore.com is even selling an adaptor ring that fills the front hole on the GEN 4 slides so you can run the GEN 3 springs.

My question: If you have to run GEN 3 springs in a GEN 4 Glock why spend the money in the first place. (or is the frame texture worth all that $)

The Glock gen 4 nothing special. Just copying the XD. If Glock was smart they would have just adjusted the gen 3 frame and left the slide alone. with a tons of parts on the market for the gen 3 why buy a gen 4.

First you said the Glock pistols copy the XD and now you bring the XDM into the discussion. Nice try. Lets see. GLock has been in the market for what... umm.. 25+ years.... Since you brought up the dual recoil spring...... have you ever shot any of the sub compact Glock (g26, g27, etc..)? They all have dual recoil spring.
