I'm kind of afraid to say this but... let's stress test this thing!
As you say a 1918 "Black Army" Colt that unfortunately has been plated. hard to tell from the pictures, but looks like the parts might be correct. For example, looks like the right milled trigger, short grip tang, etc.
Alas, because it's been plated has virtually no collector value. I'd put this in the "interesting shooter" category. In my (not so expert) opinion I'd value this in the $500 range or so. non-collectable 1911s have been going down in value with the availability of low-priced 1911s such as the RIA models.
