If you had to rack the slide would you decock it or leave it in SA? Or if your gun were already loaded in condition two would you cock it to SA or leave it as it is?

Isn't part of the beauty of a SA/DA is that you don't even need to rack the slide, just pull the trigger and start shooting (though the first pull is a little longer than subsequent pulls).10 +1 in the chamber -

Rack the slide, decock, put the gun next to the bed. Bed guise break in, pick it up and just pull the trigger.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.
Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

if it is da/sa i would say decocked with a round in the chamber so that way you wont have an accident discharge due to the lighter trigger pull. were as if its lets say a 1911 where sa only you would want it cocked locked and ready to rock as soon as you disengage the safety.NRA MemberComment

The SA on my Sig P226 SA/DA is very light, so I prefer DA in case if I stumble, it doesn't go off.Comment

I voted double action but it depends. If it's in the middle of the night and I'm half asleep I would say double. Now if I'm
awake and alert I might go with sa because I shoot better that way.Comment
