    Mag disconnects, glock 21SF

Could someone educate me as to what the laws are for new guns to get on the list? As I understand it, they have to have both mag disconnect and loaded chamber indicator. Is this right? What about internal locks?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of getting a G21SF. I take it that the G21SF has mag disconnect? Does it also have the internal lock? How hard is it to get rid of these things?

How are they putting loaded chamber indicators on new 1911s? I imagine they have to have a Kimber-style external extractor to do it?

The approved G21SF does not have the disco or the ambi release.

        Internal lock?

They squeeked in the G21SF as a grip modification (G21 w/ grip mod) this is why the ambi release and the pict rail will never be on the CA list unless they repeal all the laws about loaded chamber flag and mag disco.

You will only be able to get the ambi release or pict rail via PPT.

The Glock internal lock is a special order item and does not come standard on any Glock.

So, unless you order a Glock with one, it won't come with it.

            I see.

Yeah, I don't want the pic rail or ambi mag release anyway. I was just concerned about the other crap.

            Thanks.
