    browning: great customer service experience

    i had a great customer service experience with browning and feel compelled to share it with the calguns community.

    i bought a stainless steel browning buckmark camper from a calgunner a few weeks ago, shot a few hundred rounds through it and on field strip found i was missing a lock washer. i, also, lost the light tube for the front fiber optic site.

    called browning, got an AMERICAN customer service agent (what a concept). she was friendly and very helpful. said she would send me the washers at no cost (part price was $1.25 each) and as for the front sight (part price $40 each) she checked records to see if the camper was shipped with fiber optic front site and decided to send both the washers and new front sight under warranty free of charge. i received both parts today, four days after my initial phone contact.

    wow. i'm impressed. no hassle. no bs. just efficient service with a smile. browning's tag line is "THE BEST THERE IS". yes. i believe their customer service IS the best there is.
