    USP sight question

Hey guys, I'm a newbie here (both on this forum and to the gun world). Anyways, I recently bought a USP9 fullsize and am quite happy with my purchase. However this past weekend at the range, I noticed my front sight lost its white dot. It didn't occur to me until after I was cleaning it that it was gone (I guess I was having too much fun shooting to really notice it then hehe).

My question is this...is there any way for me to replace that white dot without resorting to sending my gun to HK or a gunsmith? I would rather not buy any night sights right now, and have actually thought about taking some whiteout or white paint and coloring it in. I'm sure that would look tacky though. Any suggestions/ideas?

    Thanks.

It was probably paint to begin with
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

Does it look like the white dot was a pin insert? If so, call HK customer service, you will likely be forwarded to Mark. You may have to leave him a message, he'll call back. Tell him you your problem, he'll ask for your address and send you replacement white plastic pin insert free of charge. Don't use any metal tools when you reinsert it, or you may squish edges of the pin and use a tiny drop of glue to hold it in place.
