Looking for a Five-Seven in Orange County

Ive been calling around my local shops in OC and no one seems to actually carry these in the store. I am wondering if anyone familiar with the location knows if there is one I missed somewhere before I start looking to order one from out of state. Any help is greatly appreciated! (Not looking to buy pre-owned if anyone is wondering, but thanks though!)

Fowlers had a couple a week ago. Stockade and Fowlers are the same owners and have the highest prices.

Why not pre owned? From constantly perusing the private gun sales here, it seems there are a lot of near new five sevens for sale between $950-$1000. They aren't always in socal but some are. Save yourself a couple hundred dollars and use it towards the expensive ammo you'll need for it.

I've never seen a pre-owned Five-Seven that wasn't in pristine condition.

Rarely do any of them have many rounds thru them. They are collector weapons more than range/carry guns.

Save yourself some cash. Most used ones come with some ammo thrown in if you ask.

I have one and will keep it. It's still NIB.

I've seen new ones at:

2. Stockade
3. Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga

If you come up a little, I've seen new ones FS at Turners in Norwalk and Ammo Bros in Cerritos. But +1 for used, why spend $150-$300 more for a new one when the used ones are already in pristine condition, and often come with extras (mags, ammo, etc)?

I recently sold mine in OD that had 750 rounds down the pipe and still looked like the day I bought it. I sold it with 250 rds of ammo and all the accessories for $1K.

Circumstances forced me to sell it, but I will get another one again someday and wouldn't pass up a used one. Ammo is no more expensive than factory .45.

Sure...they are not practical carry weapons because they are too large. However, they would make a good backpack weapon because they are so light, even with a 30 round mag. Ammo is expensive and difficult to reload.
You can reload it, but the bottleneck cartridge takes more care and empty brass is hard to find.

Ammo costs about $20 and up a box.

It shoots like a pellet gun, no recoil to speak of. Being about twice as expensive as the Glock, XD or M&P platform, they are not mainstream in gun circles. However, I would feel safe walking thru East Los Angeles with one under my coat. They are really fun to shoot, but again...expensive.

In an ideal world having a PS90 bullpup rifle to carry and shoot in California would make a perfect combo pair of weapons in this caliber. Too bad we have some backward laws here in California.

This weapon is not a good 'first handgun'. It is owned by people who already have a GLOCK, 1911 and some revolvers. People who are bored and want something off-base. The Five-Seven is such a weapon.

The FIRST handgun someone should own should be a GLOCK, 1911 or a .357 magnum revolver. These are base weapons that should be in every persons collection.

Plan on spending $1000 for the five-seven. They are remarkable weapons, so have FUN.!

I saw someone DROS'ing a 5-7 at OC Armory when I was there doing DROS on my DW... but I'm not sure if the guy had it shipped in or not.
