Favorite Metal Frame semi-auto in 40 S&W

I'm leaning towards a Beretta 96 myself.

I'd get a sig in a heartbeat but because of my high tang grip they're extremely uncomfortable and don't work well with my technique. ( save the p220 but it's not avail in 40 s&w )

Any other great options ?

Oh , caveat ... no 1911 style suggestions. I'm very happy with my colt series 70 gold cup.

I like my Sig p226 and p229 in 40sw, the recoil is really manageable, trigger is nice with srt. I also have a bhp and cz 75 in 40sw, they are not bad either.
