S&W magazine issue

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson 1911 Koenig chambered in 38 super from there performance shop. The gun is fabulous but the mags that came with it are total crap and so the don't feed properly 99% of the time - they're not even S&W magazines?? Anybody else have this issue with this pistol? Also I need to buy new mags, what would be considered the best on the market?

I have a 1911PD which did not like the factory mags.

I have your DK's brother in 45, the S&W mags work great, no probs.

I also bought some McCormicks and they are good too.

I ended up getting two Tripp Research mags. Anybody have any experience with them?
Honestly I just can't get over how absolutely terrible the mags that came with a $1,700 pistol are! I looked at them again this morning and I'm just dumbfounded. I feel like writing S&W a letter to complain -
