How do you intend to carry it? DAO is simpler & more versatile for CCW options with or without a holster. Furthermore, at the point you'd be going to your backup your adrenaline will be racing so much you won't notice the trigger pull (as long as you've trained with it properly). But evaluate how you intend to carry it, and use that to help make your decision.

For pocket carry, I would go with the 340. For anything else, I would go for the 360. Something about a revolver without an SA option bugs me.

There are ways to get around pocket carry with a 360 though. You can draw it with your thumb next to the hammer or on top of the hammer. Some people cock as they draw as well. It all depends on how much and how you practice.

One thing I can say about a hammerless design though. It will always go bang in your coat pocket, were as a hammer design might catch some pocket lining.

I wish they'd make a version with the hump back shrouded hammer. That is just about perfect for CCW.

I think S&W still makes some version(s) of a shrouded-hammer 5-shot wheelgun - Chief's Special or Ladysmith, dunno. However, they're in stainless and not the high-tech lightweight alloys.

I agree w/Mr TuffPaws, I like availability of SA mode too.

Yea, but I want one in the Scandium alloy. That is so perfect that I have no idea why they haven't made it that way. I'll be buying the DAO one here soon as I would rather not take the chance of a snag with it.

I don't have to worry about that silly list anymore but thanks.
