Kimber Desert Warrior vs. Sig Scorpion

So I'm thinking about getting a Desert Warrior and then came across the Sig Scorpion.

Thoughts from fellow calgunners on either one?

The fact that the SIG is less coin and that I've never tried a SIG 1911 but heard positive reviews makes me want to give the SIG a shot.

    Thanks.

there has been lots of sig vs kimber threads lately. i would go with the sig based on price alone.

im picking up my sig 1911 in a few days, id go with the sig. 2 problems, 1, offlist maybe hard to come across and 2 being it has a threaded barrel. either spend money on a new barrel or shave off the threads, but shaving off those threads wouldnt feel right to me.

Which ever model has no MIM parts.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

Off list just makes it a hassle and more $ to get but not a show stopper. I'm tending to go with the Sigs for now as i have a kimber already....

The Kimber DW is a nice 1911. It has the series I safeties and an internal extractor that many in the 1911 world absolutely cannot do without. My Kimber ran 100% after the first 400 rounds. I dont have any experience with the sig but it seems to have a lot of the features that people want now a days.
