Anyone know of any websites that have current ratings of the different self defense rounds? Everywhere i look is pretty outdated by 5 or so years.....

Ballistics101.com is a pretty nice page, has listed the energy of various rounds another pretty cool thing I found was a YouTube channel called tnoutdoors9 he preforms several ballistics tests

ATK, which manufacturers some loads for Federal and Speer has a lot of GREAT data on the offerings from these companies as well as many others (Police/Federal agencies will bring other brands in for comparisons during ATK's testing). On this page you'll see links to data in PDF form (with some photos), and you can click the "videos" link on the left column to see the same stuff in video form. Very comprehensive.

^^^ you'll probably come away from this feeling that Federal HST is awesome. By all accounts, it is. LOTS of agencies have switched to it from just about everything else under the sun, and more are doing so. You'll find it's extremely popular and spoken highly of all over the internet.
