Predicament: CZ 75B or Sig Mosquito

No, I am not comparing these firearms because I know one is vastly superior.

However, because my Springer 1911 apparently won't be ready for another 5 to 11 months, I am going to purchase one of the above. The questions is, which one?

The Facts: I will be purchasing a CZ 75B regardless. I will also have some form of 22lr pistol.

Question: Do I get the Mosquito, plink carelessly (of course with CCI minimag) away with it until I get my 1911 then purchase the CZ later down the road? OR Do I get one the CZ 75 (I love this gun) and shoot it less (cost of ammo can be an issue) and then get a 22 lr kit for the 1911 or the CZ Kadet kit later on?

    What say you calgunners?

I have the mosquito and love it. It's a fun gun and i have never had the issues most people complain about. I only put blazer rounds through and it will eat it no matter how full it gets . I've shot it the heck out of it and have never had an issue when it gets to hot or to dirty. Double action sucks but thats not a big concern for me because i don't shoot it like that, I always cock the hammer first. With a little practice and getting to know it, you'll be pretty accurate with it.

I really recommend the Brick of Blazers for this gun. A brick (500rds) for around $16-17. Not to bad and pretty good ammo

You have a pretty tough decision. I've shot the Sig and own a couple CZ75 pistols. I prefer to use the Kadet conversion vs taking my S&W 22A to the range. It takes up less space and I've noticed that I get more out of my training by using my actual firearm with the Kadet kit.

Added bonus in that you can get the 75 and the Kadet kit at the same time.

CZ75's aren't that easy to find, unless you're willing to pay a premium. I would place an order for the CZ75b, buy the Mosquito now and wait on both the 75B & Springer.

I've been trying to locate a 75b sa for a couple of months now with no luck. CZ custom shop had a 2-3 month wait and Turners just told me this morning it would be more like 6 months. If anyone locates one, please let me know.

Get the cz-75, .22lr might as well be a BB gun.

Just last weekend I discovered that my Mosquito loves Federal bulk (in the blue box). I was having problems with the recommended CCI mini mags, and was getting disappointed in my choice. Now it's not only cheaper to shoot, but no more annoying jams!
