Kimber Custom II Trigger???

Is it just me or does the Custom II trigger have a heavy feeling pull? I just shot mine today at the range for the first time and the trigger pull just felt oddly heavier than I remembered when dry firing in the store prior to purchase... Anybody else notice this on their Kimber Custom II or any other Kimber models when brand new? And if so, does it go away after the first 1,000 rounds or so? Let me know what you guys think.

Just keep shooting it boss. After the break in period it should feel smoother. 
