I received the whole kit with two extra mags in the mail today. I went straight to the Firing Line in Huntington Beach. No malfunction or whatever with 200 CCI Mini Mag and 100 rounds of Remington Golden Bullet. It is not as accurate as i wanted. But i still love it

It is the training model. I got it for $266 shipped with three mags total... Walmart sells Remington Golden Bullet Value pack (550 rounds) for 9 bucks or something. I can shoot all day long without burning my wallet.

Looking at the Advantage Arms website it seems they make two conversions for the Glock. There's a chart for what models they've got kits for:

If you are unhappy with the accuracy it might have something to do with the cheap plinking ammo. Try something a bit higher quality and you'll probably see your groups cut down quite a bit.

I had two P22s both POS. S&W replaced the first one because it was eatting a gouge on the frame from wear(~2k rounds). The second did the same thing. Thenl I demanded my money back but they bribed me with a Model 317. Glock with a AA conversion, no comparison. S&W customer service, very good. P22 is the one gun I regret buying.

Why not just buy a P22 or similar for a little more money, and save the wear and tear on your Glock to boot?

No significant "wear and tear" on the Glock beyond what you'd inflict on it shooting regular ammo.

One of the points I took into consideration when I bought the conversion kit was the fact I could shoot a lot more frequently with my carry gun using .22lr ammo as compared to 9mm. For $100 I can get a LOT more .22lr ammo than 9mm, and if I get a conversion kit for my G20 the cost difference between .22lr and 10mm is even bigger.

The other thing is, I'm shooting the same gun I'm using for everyday carry. I want to train with the same gun I carry day in and day out, not have to switch between my "carry gun" and my "range gun". That may not be an issue for some people, but in my opinion the difference in grip and location/function of the controls on two different handguns is enough to warrant sticking to one platform uniformly between training and use.

I know what you mean. I used to shoot around 200 rounds per range visit. After i got my conversion, I shoot 200 rounds of 22lr and 50 of the regular rounds. Shoot more for less

I see your point. Myself, I have a Glock 17 but I like to go with my Ruger Mark III Hunter for a 22 target practice. The latter is known for its accuracy, which mine is, and with some more practice am looking to get into some competition. I get similar reports from guys about the accuracy of bigger caliber guns converted to 22, but of course the objective is different.

Today, I shot 50 rounds with G17 9mm. Then I did 500 rounds of 22 for almost the same price as the 50 rounds of 9mm. I spread out the 22 ammo between my various 22s. I get lots of reps this way.

Sweet setup, ammo cost is no big deal to me since I reload. I just like shooting 22's. I would like a setup like this for my HK USP.
