HELP: Someone who owns a CZ P-01.....

Can someone measure the length of the front grip from the bottom edge of the trigger guard to the bottom edge of the frame.... without a magazine?? I ordered this gun, and I'm trying to determine if I will have a problem with my pinky fitting while I grip. It looks like the 14 round Mag models have a longer rubber contoured floor plate on the mags, which would probably be perfect. The 10 rounders come with a thinner plastic floor plate which really does not extend the grip??? Am I correct about this?

I have a 75 compact which uses the same mags as the p-01. It looks to measure about 2 and a quarter inches on the grip. My hands are mediums size and my 3 fingers just fit on the frame. The gun is very comfortable to hold and shoot. Mark

Measured mine from the deepest part of the trigger guard. Comes out to 2 1/4 inches.

And you're correct about the plastic floor plate. It's jutts out a small bit and I would not call it an extension at all.

I have small hands and this gun fits me great

Thanks guys. It's gonna be close. I need to find a way to switch to the metal floor plates, then add the rubber butt pads that go onto the metal plates.... Is that logic about right?

Now if you have some standard size cz75 10 round promags you could put sp-01 baseplates on them and it would extend the grip. It works with 16 round cz75 mags too.

I held one today. With the mag/plastic baseplate lip... it's is an EXACT fit... not 1mm to spare. I do like the standard 75B mag/SP-01 base plate idea though.
