    Beretta 92 FS ?

Hey Guys, I have a chance of buying a LNIB 92 FS at a fair price and wondered how (those of you that have one) Like it?

I have large hands and the size of the pistol feels great to me, but was wondering what real world owners think of them..

    Thanks for your comments, Jim

In my opinion, there are better guns for the money you'd spend on a Beretta. Doesn't mean they're bad, but there is better bang for your buck out there.

Really, like what? I'd put my Berettas up against anything except a 1911. And how many Berettas do you own or have owned? How many rounds have you shot though them? How many FTF's? Hmmmm..... I have 10 and have shot a junk load through most, comfortable, accurate and reliable. I think they are an excellent "bang" for the buck. In fact I'm looking for a couple of more right now.

                yea...

If it's a decent price, the 92fs is kick-butt. made for reasonably large hands. reasonably accurate (or really accurate). AND I know you have a bunch of 15-16-17 round mags laying around.

There really isn't anything that's more bang for the buck, tried, proven, and accepted. The list of LE agencies is long and, need I mention, the good ol' Army?

They can be found, easily, for under $425. Someone else know of anything that's a metal framed, LE approved, reliable, high capacity 9mm for less than that? Anything with a track record that comes close? Anything that's ergonomically better?

The only thing that comes even close is a CZ.

I have carried and shot and qualled with it for years. Been to war with it twice and pulled it to use it twice. It is a great gun. The magazines are the weak link. Get good oned and keep them clean. I do however not like the location of the safety. That's why when I bought, it was the Taurus clone with the frame mounted safety.

I have two and they are by far the best hand gun i have ever owned and fired i personaly like it better than my colt 1911. I have fired several rounds through them and never one malfunction of any kind. I would recomend you pick one up the grip is perfect with the hogue grips. Good luck on your decision

Agreed, in fact the only reason I don't still have my CZ is because of the pre-ban Beretta hi-caps I have on hand. OK your post gets an atta boy!!!!!!(Boy am I feisty tonight )
