    1911 Grips

I've got a stainless 1911 that I want to pimp out, like discussed in the other thread. I'm thinking that some ivory grips with USMC engravings would be nice. Does anyone have any info on availibility of anything of the sort...I want to stick to $100 or less.

Two different USMC versions on there, and you can submit your own if you'd like.

Hogue auction sells some, they are seconds but the price is right. Here's 4 pairs on this page. http://www.hogueauction.com/browse.php?id=95&page=5 Here's another pair on a different page. http://www.hogueauction.com/item.php...52506bde5fd956

Thanks all, I picked up the second set that RailRoader showed. The price seems pretty good, I just hope the blems arn't to bad. Either way, it is a carry gun so I expect the grips to get beat up.

You might try this guy if you want something really custom.

Custom Handgun Pistol Grips- Wicked Grips makes pistol grips and parts for the top handgun models including the 1911, Glock, Desert Eagle, CZ 75 and Beretta

I have not done business with him but plan to, his website is nothing short of amazing.

You might have to double your 100 budget though.
