No experience with the .45, but I did have some experience with a .38 revolver.
This is the only revolver I have owned that has ever failed.
Gun broke unexplainably and Taurus repaired after 6 weeks, but NEVER spoke to me or provided any written report. They declined to state what was fixed or why it failed. I paid for shipping to the distributor in Miami, FL. I sold the gun to a dealer after it was repaired.
I accept that things break. I do not accept that Taurus refused to explain the repair or the failure. This tells me they have a lot of issues.
