but, but, gunstores lose money when they let you do a PPT. YOu mean that if they let you come in to do a PPT, that they might actually sell stuff that they have as well

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

It's a great find. Crazy comes in to play with the price paid, which we don't know.
Enjoy your new Colt!

Good for you! Enjoy shooting it; Colt DA revolvers are a pleasure to own.People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

The Colt Grizzly is a Python barrel on a King Cobra frame and, AFAIK, they were only made with a 6" bbl. In good shape they used to sell for $1K to $2K. However, lately I've noticed more than few older S&W's selling for very good prices which I attribute the economy. I don't know if it is affecting the price on used Colts but I'll bet it is.Originally posted by stretchJust picked it the Grizzly from its ten-day hybernation at the dealer.
Anybody know why the S/N is in the 900's if they claim to have only made 500 of them? It seems all the S/N's i have seen have been odd numbered. Did they save the odd's for six inch version and even's for four inchers? Has anyone ever seen a four inch Grizzly?Politicians and criminals are moral twins separated only by legal fiction.Comment

Just a guess...Originally posted by stretchAnybody know why the S/N is in the 900's if they claim to have only made 500 of them? ]
I would think they assigned a certain group of numbers to that model. SN don't generally start at 1 & go up. Maybe the Grizzly has a prefix of 9-something. The prefix might also be a date code indicating when it was built."He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
