I was messing with my P30LS v1 and have an HK45C hammer spring its alittle shorter (exactly 2 coils shorter )and swapped it out... It made the trigger pull lighter than a variant 1 (4.5lb LEM trigger pull)... My only concern is that it might not strike the primer with enough force. What do you guys think ????

Well; EXPERIMENT 2:
I took a wolff 12lb spring for the USP 9mm and cut off 4 coils (should have cut off 2 to 3 coils) off it and used it... I compared to my combact competition trigger on my USPF 45 and the trigger pull is now the same or at least very close... I need to get a lyman digi gauge.
Cutting 3 coils off a Wolff 12lb spring feels the closest to my combact competition trigger...
I ordered 3 12lb Wolff Springs and 1 16lb spring ... and will do more experiments...
will have a range report later today...
THIS IS MY USPSA PISTOL... Not my home defensive pistol... If you follow suit please be advised that, this is me experimenting to get a lighter trigger pull on my competition pistol...
