If you don't want to use magazines with bumper pads you're out of luck. Any add-on part will add length to the grip. You best bet is to have a decent gunsmith bevel the magwell for you. It's not that expensive.NRA Benefactor Life Member

Looking in the 1911 enhancement section on the Taraus it appears the stock magazine pads on the Taraus will extend past the Wilson Combat style mag well. Does anyone have one? – is this correct?Comment

The pads on the Taurus mags should extend beyond any of the magwells currently available, so you have no limitations in your choice.NRA Benefactor Life Member
