Need some help from the S&W Revolver guys

Local shop has a used model 36 blue finish. Factory grips, not sure on details (year, round count, etc). What's the price range on these? Shop is asking $350.

I think I would go with a Telecaster. The bolt on neck would be the strongest to deal with terrorist zombies. I know most folks will say Strat, but I think the trem system is unreliable.
I mean, who needs to dive bomb when SHTF? That only happens in movies.

If a pre-lock and in good shape, its a good deal. they seem to go 450 to 500 here on Calguns. I'm very fond of my 2" m-36. One of the best snubbies ever!.

Condition is everything. If the bluing is 90%+ = $500
If it has pits, rust, or really worn bluing, $350 is expected.

What condition are you looking at?

A pre-lock (if it is) Model 36 at $350 is either a steal of a deal or there's something about it that's driving the price down. The going rate for solid, very good condition, pre-lock specimens is $450 and up those places where I look. Older adds a premium. Matching box, tools and papers adds even more.

I'll have to go in and handle it and get a closer look. I just looked at it in the case and it looks pretty clean from what I could see but I don't expect it to be that great because the way this store prices other guns I can't imagine they'd offer that good of a deal.

There are bargains out there. I just score an ex-police officers S&W 36 for $250. Some wear but well worth the money.
