Sorry to burst your bubble but you do still have to pay sales tax on it and it's the California sales tax for your locality. You just pay it on your Income Tax forms as "Use Tax".http://www.jackrossammo.com/home.php?cat=
They are out of Nevada so no Tax or shipping - really good prices.
I shoot on the second Sunday of every month so I will let you know how I like it.My Guns:
SP 2022 9mm - 2575 rounds
Hi-Point Carbine 9mm | Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot |Magpul BUIS 45 degree offset - 140 rounds

I only shot one box of Jack Ross .45 out of my Springfield Loaded. I found it to be no better or worse than the WWB that I also brought along. Reliability and accuracy, in my hands, were identical between these brands. So go with whichever is selling for less.Comment

Why would you promote your ammunition in this thread? you even kind of bash Jack Ross ammo by saying " we are not willing to skimp on quality just to meet somebody's low-ball price point"! that means you are trying to say that Jack Ross uses cheap components, you should create your own thread instead of posting here.Originally posted by DianneYou might want to try BishopAmmuntion.com. We are a California-based (near Sacramento) small arms ammunition manufacturer (we are a fully licensed manufacturer, including FFL), and we primarily sell through gun dealers but we also sell online as well in areas where we do not have a dealer. Our ammunition is known for being match-grade, as we are not willing to skimp on quality just to meet somebody's low-ball price point. Our prices are very reasonable, we offer LEO and military discounts, and yes, we do charge for shipping, but its only what UPS charges us for shipping plus the adult signature required charge they require (we don't make money off it at all). Still, we get very good reviews, and give the best customer service we can. We routinely show up over at the outdoor gun range north of Lincoln and test our loads there. So there is another alternative for you for 45 Auto. Unfortunately, we do not offer 9mm, as it would cost us more to make than what we could sell it for.Comment

I agree. I know I won't be doing any business with them. I don't like those that try to play the cut throat game. Why would you promote your ammunition in this thread? you even kind of bash Jack Ross ammo by saying " we are not willing to skimp on quality just to meet somebody's low-ball price point"! that means you are trying to say that Jack Ross uses cheap components, you should create your own thread instead of posting here.Originally posted by Neil McCauleyAre you actually suppost to "taste" wood?
