    S&W Model 657 .41 Mag

Here's a little sumthin' I started DROS on today. It's NIB and was on consignment at Alquist Arms in Turlock. Bead blasted stainless finish, rosewood grips, a 3" bbl and it's a "pre-lock." Should make a nice carry piece.

VERY NICE indeed! That's one model of .41Magnum I haven't got, yet. The three inch model I've got has the 3inch barrel sans the underlug. Would you mind giving a ballpark figure as to what you paid?

You will really like the cartridge, especially if you load for it. I use a couple guys who custom load for it on Dillon RL 650s.

The .41Magnum is all a person needs in the lower 48 unless a grizzly is met. Where I know there's grizzly, I carry my .475 or .500LB.

Great revolver! I have two 3" pre locks and would love to find a 65LS, 696, and 657 for my collection.
