    The orgin of Glock

Last name origin & meaning: Glock

German: from Middle High German (Old High German glocka, apparently ultimately from a Celtic source), hence a topographic name for someone who lived by the bell tower of a church, a habitational name from a house distinguished by the sign of a bell, or a metonymic occupational name for a sexton (who among other duties was responsible for ringing the church bell) or a town crier (who used a handbell to draw attention).

Maybe this explains why people are always ranting and raving about the damn things.

I thought "Glock" was Austrian for "KABOOM!" :stirpot:
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

While we're here arguing about the latest high tech running shoes, there's some Kenyan out there running barefoot. Guess who's gonna win the marathon?

Glock = Take a Steyr 1909 striker, add it to a P08 Luger and use a Sig Sauer Barrel Lockup and do it with the fewest number of parts.
