Glad to join this forum! I'm seeing familiar names from other forums on here, also from California, and I like the idea of a California specific gun forum, considering the extra amount of hoops we residents jump through. At least most of you won't tell me to move to another state when gun laws get crazy. 
I love San Francisco, but a majority of the people (about 85,000+ according to the "majority vote") remain suspect.
I'm also lookin for what solutions are available to San Francisco gun-owners. My dad has had his Colt Python since before I was born, and I'm really pissed that after all these years, he will become a "criminal" because of someone else's stupidity. So, I'm getting him a shotgun and keeping his Colt with me in the meantime. Is there anything to look forward to in the courts? Thank you.
