If possible can you please post some pics of the inside of your frame? The part the the spring sits on top of when the slide is attached? Would be nice to compare to a pre-owned 75b I'm looking at, which has some scuffing under the frame.

    Thanks!

Are you talking about the front part of the frame that the slide sits in when assembled?

Yes, the front part of the frame that slide sits in. The spring sits directly above this piece of the frame....i want to see pics to see if its normal to have gouging there from the spring.

I cleaned mine yesterday, and that part of the frame still has tooling marks from manufacture. I don't thing the spring touches it at all. I can't take pics at the moment.

Here is mine, don't see any gouging of the spring either.

If you don't have a pic that works beforehand, I'll have the opportunity to snap one for you tomorrow (Friday) morning any time before 11:00. Happy to do it.

...although, I only have about 800 rounds through it so maybe it's not really a good super long term example. You could always just smooth it out if you wanted. That's not an integral part. Get a new spring, a new guide rod (looking at like $12 total), and you're good to go. These things run many many many tens of thousands of rounds.

I guess I'll have to show some pics when I grab it on Saturday. Im wondering if it isn't an aftermarket spring that tore up the inside of the dustcover.

So does this look like a CZ-75b that has never been shot? Or has been lightly shot?

                            Here's the pics:

The marks inside the slide are machining marks, my 75B is a little better but still looks similar. The marks on the slide mating surface look like file marks, perhaps from final fitting at the factory. My 75B (in .40) has about 1.1K rounds through it and the surface looks a bit more 'polished' in that area.
