Today I was refamiliarized with the beretta M9 after an 8 year honeymoon. I realized though after shooting my little Cz82 and having fun with my father in law's Cz75 that the M9 (at least for me) is an unwieldy, clunky, and unrefined pos. I can hit what I am at and qualify with flying colors, but man do I hate that thing.

CZ has ruined me.....

The first handgun I ever shot was a 92fs at a local shooting range. I thought it was great at the time.
Many more trips to the range and dozens of different handguns later, I can't imagine how I found the grip comfortable.
Now, I really think for me nothing beats a CZ in terms of ergonomics and comfort. With the Sig a respectable (but distant) runner up. -
I love my CZ!Comment

Having tried a great many pistols, I used to think Glocks were the greatest. Then I tried a CZ.

I never looked twice at a CZ until I shot a 75 about 2 years ago. At the moment I own a 97b, and I can say that its the best shooting auto handgun I have ever owned. Its also the most stout and heaviest and, for me, thats builds confidence, maybe thats why I shoot it better." Trying is the first step towards failure " - Homer J. SimpsonComment

And to show how personal the opinion is when it comes to handguns, I can say exactly the opposite for me.Today I was refamiliarized with the beretta M9 after an 8 year honeymoon. Couldn't shoot CZs for the life of me and had to sell mine.
M9 in the other hand, bullseyes from long distances all day long.
What an amazing pistol..Comment

I'll second the CZ 75. I don't find them sexy at all, in fact the opposite. But all three 75's I have shot, 9mm and .40, I can punch out the center of a bullseye at 10 yards, which for me is far and above what I can do with anything else in my hands.

Sold my M&P after renting the CZ 75b at my local range. After a long search here in San Diego, picked up a new 75b for 549.
LOVE IT. Shoots great, fits my hand perfect and has a great trigger pull.
I'm ruined for polymer guns now. Steel all the way.

I have never owned or shot a CZ. I did handle a few in the store and it felt great and looked great. Come to think of it I couldn't stand Glocks and never looked twice at them. I tried one after the sales rep just suggested trying it before I made my next purchase. Glad I did it is one of my favorite guns now. The CZ may be worth a try.sigpicComment

I've come back home to CZ after a long trek in the Wilderness of Beretta, Glock, and Sig. This time, I got me a SP-01. Can't wait to shoot it!"Two dead?!? HOW?!?"

My CZ collection comprises just a CZ75b and a CZ75. Theyre AWESOME. My fave carry handgun currently is my German made 228. In my inexpert hands; the 228 shoots almost as perfectly out to 15-20 yards.
However, almost no 9mm I own can out shoot those CZs. They are "eat up the black" accurate and really natural pointers.sigpicComment

I've got a 92fs and a CZ P01
They are both nice pistols and I like them both.
I drive a Duramax, and I like my buddies Cummins as well.
They are both nice trucks.
My point is, although I may have my favorites
I can't see myself saying anything bad about a gun (or truck)Comment
