Well I thought I got narrowed down to a Glock 30SF but found out my buddy is selling his USP 40 Compact for $600. I know for a fact there has only been about 200 rds down the pipe. Which would you get?

H&K USP Compact 40 or Glock 30SF?

I have owned both HK and Glock. I prefer the looks and the feel of the Hk, but hate the safety. Both pistols feed most any ammo, and shoot great. The price difference is a big one. I don't know if the extra features are worth the money. If the money isn't a big deal buy the HK, if it is then buy the Glock.Comment

Definitely HK at that price!
FWIW, I shot a Glock 17, Glock 19, HK USP Compact 9mm, back to back and HK felt smoother and had less felt recoil.
I also have an HK USP 40c which has a snappy recoil so follow-up shots are slightly slower compared to a 9mm and even a good quality 45.Comment

I have owned both the HK USP Compact and owned a Glock 19 & Glock 23. Hands down the Glock. It is much more practical and has much easier to master trigger/action. Much better for self defense. The finish is also drastically better on a Glock than on the HK. The HK finish wears off very easily. Don't get me wrong. The USP is my third favorite handgun. But it lags far behind the Glock. Explaining all the reasons why would require a 40 page essay.Comment

Well at least the poll is a dead tie so far, so I guess that's pretty good lol.Originally posted by Neil McCauleyAre you actually suppost to "taste" wood?Originally posted by Neil McCauleyJust wish I knew what wood in your meat is suppost to taste like.Comment

Well I have decided on the glock. Getting one with "claimed" 100 rds fired, holster, mag pouch, some ammo, and a 10mm barrel for $550!!!Last edited by Noah3683; 05-19-2011, 2:14 PM.Originally posted by Neil McCauleyAre you actually suppost to "taste" wood?Originally posted by Neil McCauleyJust wish I knew what wood in your meat is suppost to taste like.Comment
