    Question about 4473

Hey all, turning 21 tomorrow and the first thing I'm gonna do is go out and buy a Glock 19!

I have a question about the required paperwork, though. I'm currently a college student in SoCal living in an apartment, but my permanent address in back in the Bay Area. I got a copy of my lease agreement for my apartment and it displays my home address under "Tenant's Address," which matches up with the address on my CDL.

Do I provide my home address in the Bay or my address here in SoCal? Will I run into any complications?

I ask because I carried out a DROS for a Saiga couple months ago with a local FFL and he used my current apartment address... I'm not sure what to do and just want to get everything right in the first place so in 10 days I can go shooting. Any help is appreciated, thank you all very much.

Which is your legal address? What is on your DL? That is what you use.

You use whatever the DMV knows you as. When they DROS you and start your background check, DMV is on that list of places.

Okay, thanks for the replies all. The FFL I went to had me write my current address on the back of my CDL, then used that current address on the DROS form. I guess it worked somehow, even though I used my actual home address a couple months before that when I DROS'd my 870..
