Picked up a new RIA 1911 A1 tactical and would like to get a 22 conversion for plinking. Who makes the best one for the $$?

I ran a Kimber slide on a RIA GI I used to have. Was very accurate and fed Blazer and MiniMags almost as well as a normal 1911 (98%) -
Kimber conversion has my vote!

However for the price ($350+), and with the recent addition of the GSG1911-22 to CADOJ HG list, you can pick up a whole separate pistol for a little bit more. However I have yet to find a retailer offering them for sale as it was just added. Last quote I heard was around 3 months. I know Turners in SoCal was taking pre-orders.
