    SIG P6 for $250.00?

I have chance to buy one of the West German trade in Sig p6 for $250.00. My friend bought it from Turners about a year ago or so and since I did some work in his house he is offering this "deal". Is this gun worth it? And are there any issues that I should be aware of in regards to this gun? I read online about the issues feeding HP ammo but I don't care about that, it won't be my go to gun or home defense, just plinking fun.

Forget about it, pass up this deal. Those surplus guns aren't any good.
Just let us know how to contact this friend of yours and someone here will take it off his hands.

No, really, it's a good buy. You'll like it.

arguably the best shooting Sig ever made! $250 is a great price for it.

Buy it, flip it to me for $300 and call it a day. Then everybody wins, he sells his gun, I get a p6, and you make a small profit.

That would be 3 gallons of gas and a bag of sunflower seeds for the trip !

Had a student who uses one as his primary self-defense gun.

Solid Pistol, reliable, very suitable for smaller hands.

I'm originally from Germany and the police in my home state of Nordrhein-Westfalen used to carry them. As far as I know they never ran into any problems with the P6/225.

There's only one slight disadvantage - factory mags are pricey!
