I'm going to be getting a Beretta 90 two in 40, i really wish it was a 9. Are there conversion barrels, and if so can someone point me there with a link? Also, do I need to change out any parts in order to use the 9mm?

Beretta 90 two conversion question

you will need to replace the entire slide assembly and the mags. Your best bet would be to contact Beretta directly. You can be sure, they've been asked the question before.

40 cal gun -> 9mm
Mags and barrel if target shooting. Also, a 90-Two barrel/locking block = 92 barrel. For some reason, Brownells has like $350 for a 9mm 90-Two barrel, and $115 for a 92 barrel. Makes no sense.
The 90-Two lower for 9mm/40 cal are the same part - no throat or feedramp differences.. I've had both and sold both.
If you are planning on self-defense - the slides ARE different on a 90-Two (9mm vs 40 cal). So as suggested above, swap the whole upper. But - the problem is, 90-Two's across the country are not common. Uppers - even on BF are almost never sold. Barrel is easy, slide almost impossible to find separate.
And 92 slides are not even close to a 90-Two slide. The 92A1 slide is very similiar to a 90-Two, but not available in CA...
Mags - don't cheap out - the 40's will not work reliably. Just buy some $20 9mm mags from BerettaUsa or CDNN - they have sales all the time.

90-Two != 92 or 96. I've owned all 4 (Two 90-Twos' with 9mm/.40, and multiple 92FS/96(FS)'s.
92/96's - you can put a 9mm (92 barrel) in a 96 slide. Mags have to change - you CAN put 9mm's in a 96 mag, but the last one will jam, 100%. And yes, I've done the 92 barrel in a 96. Even with the correct mags, it's not something I'd use for SD, but for target, is okay, not dangerous.
As to 90-Two's - I never actually tried it ( by shooting ) , but the slides have the same barrel size, locking block as 92FS/96(FS).
So, can't answer the 90-Two question, but it should work. Given that, none of this is condoned by Beretta/BUSA...
PM me if this is confusing.
