Glockworx ZEV Tech Fulcrum Trigger Problem - SOLVED

i'm having a problem with the Glockworx ZEV Tech Fulcrum Trigger. maybe someone can help. i just installed a complete Fulcrum trigger and the safety portion of the trigger sticks to the frame, not allowing it to reset properly.

After the trigger is pressed (dry firing) and the slide racked while the trigger is depressed, most times the trigger will stick and not automatically reset. it looks as if the nub on the trigger's safety just barely sticks to the inside of the frame. if the pistol is shaken or moved, then the trigger will reset. anyone know what's going on with it? i tried the adjustment screws but it doesn't seem to help things.

it almost seems like i need to file the nub down a little to help it clear the frame. but that doesn't sound right. anyone have any ideas or heard about this before? thanks.

You need to adjust pretravel. Sounds like you've removed too much pretravel and its not allowing the trigger safety to reset. Take a peek at the instrctions again and use that tiny allen wrench. Adjusting mine took several tries and about 30 mins before I was happy.

Sorry for some reason I didn't seen the second half of your post on my phone. I have 2 Fulcrums on my G21 and G29. I've never run into that problem.

yea, thanks for the suggestion. i've adjusted the screws so many times and backed out the pretravel screw to the point it was almost out of the trigger. it still kept sticking until i backed it out so much that it wouldn't function at all.

Update: spoke to craig from glockworx and got it cleared up. my buddy actually pointed this out and craig confirmed it. sometimes the supplied trigger spring is a bit too strong to allow the fulcrum trigger to rest properly. i installed my original trigger spring and the unit now functions flawlessly. i'll add that the fulcrum trigger feels great, i highly recommend it to anyone with a glock. thanks for following up craig! that's great customer service.

happens to me sometimes too. how is the trigger pull with the stock trigger spring compared to the supplied fulcrum trigger spring?

it feels great, you might want to try swapping it out. a trigger that doesn't consistently reset is no bueno.

i agree look how many times it happend to me during the match. trigger didn't reset. i had to rack the slide to reset it.

that's some great shooting! but yea, racking the slide to reset the trigger cuts into your time and overall flow. change out the trigger spring and see if it fixes it like it did for me.

Not sure if you guys also play around with your recoil spring weights, but a too light recoil spring will also affect a Glock's reset. Especially if you are using a heavier trigger spring.
