sig sp2022 vs. ruger p95?

Hello all, this will be my first handgun purchase and I am considering these two because my budget is limited and turners has the sp2022 for sale close to the price of a p95 ($399). Which is better? Not going to be used for cc.
Other recommendations around $400-450?. Can't seem to find a xd9 used for that price which I've heard good things about.

I'd say get the Sig. Ruger will be solid and reliable, but the Sig has a better trigger, and it's sweeping the nation in popularity. If you want an XD9, look for a used one in the classified section here. They're all over. Good luck

The Sig only comes with 1 magazine, take that into consideration and the Sig is not that much of a bargain.

Ruger SR9 is in that price range. Also FNP9.

Can't find any used xd9s near me in that price range (san diego). How much are the mags? Thanks for all the responses but I need to stick to that price point. Sr9>sp2022?

If that is your price point then SP2022 though I have heard of good things about the FNP9.

The SiG Pro is one gun I may have regretted selling.

No, this was an SP2340 from back in the day. Why do you ask? I only sold it because the gun did not fit me. I may have actually regretted selling an M&P40 as well if S&W CS didn't make me taste vinegar.

I asked only because I've read a few reports that the turners experienced a long break in period, but that was back in 2010. Just wondering if you experienced the same. Thanks for the response!

P95 is on sale for $319 right now at turners. Super bargain!

Between the 2 I would get the sig(and I am a big fan of Ruger guns) Though in the 400ish price range look at the SR9 and SR40 guns from Ruger, I like them more than the SP2022.

Also nobody would pay $399 for a P95, turners sells them for $319 every other week or so.

I luv my 2022. I bought it way before the model became popular. Also came with 6 mags. You are looking at $30+ for mags. Topgun has them (10) rounders. Cdnn has 357/40 cal mags for $14.99. People say they work with 9mm, don't know about the legalize aspect though.
