    30 day limit

The state of California says that the 30 day limit does not apply to private party transfers. Unfortunately, the Socialist Republic of the City of Los Angeles thinks that it knows better than the state and applies that rule to any transfer within the city. At least, that's what Turners in Reseda told me, last night. Of course, what do we expect when our city attorney has proven that he is corrupt and will break the law, to gain advantage for his family! I believe frrom other of his actions that his moraly correct title should be Comrade Commissar Delgadillo! His moral attitude fits right in with that of General Der Gehime Stadts Polazei Von Bratton who feels that no civilian should be armed, in direct moral violation of our Constitution. And our Mayor, who by his actions, should be titled "Alcalde" and probably secretly desires to be Gubanador De Alta California! In short we should never do any handgun business with any gun or sporting goods store wiyhin the city. Maybe the loss of revenue would make them bring enough pressure on our self-serving
city council to repeal that unjust law. After all, money is the only thing they care about!

      30 day limit

It is a big deal. Infringement of our rights is always a big deal. If you are too lazy or indifferent to oppose them, you are part of the problem. Also, with Metroshot's limited business hours, they can't always be fitted into my schedule!

IMO, it won't work. Those elitist that pass the unjust law want an unarmed populance. So, they don't really care for the money generated by firearm/ammo sales in their sphere of influence.

Ironically, it was ex-LA City Councilmember Mike Feuer that got the 1-per-30-Day handgun purchase on the city books as a city ordinance several years ago, with no exceptions. He is now a State Assembly Member in the 42nd district, pushing the microstamping bill, having taken over for termed-out Paul Koretz (most known for AB-50 which banned .50BMG rifles among having pushed through many other ridiculous anti-2nd Amendment bills and legislation).

Further irony is that Mike Feuer ran against Rocky DelGadillo for the city attorney postion several years ago and lost. Things could have been worse if Feuer had won - he seems to have an anti-2nd amendment vendetta - just look at his personal website. He took down his old website when he got the advantage of using the state system after winning the 42nd Assembly slot. But the following text is what he USED to proudly tout on his old website of his accomplishments as an LA City Council Member, which was:

          • Authored law combating illegal weapons trafficking by restricting handgun purchases to one per month,

          • Authored comprehensive firearms control bill requiring sale of child-proof trigger locks, banning high capacity magazines, mandating background checks for gun dealer employees, toughening ammunition registration requirements,

          • Authored motion for City to sue gun manufacturers to improve gun safety and keep guns from criminals,

          • Authored law prohibiting sale of compact handguns (and holster, parts, or other accessories),

          • Established Municipal Gun Violence Working Group with Women Against Gun Violence to coordinate tougher gun legislation with local cities.

          He is such a dick.

I'm the least of the problem. Give up on LA City. It's a lost cause. Never in a million years will the LA City Politburo repeal any anti-gun laws. Any FFL in LA City limits foolish enough to stay there is only cutting his own throat.
