    Sig P226 Stainless

How easy is to find a new Sig P226R stainless steel in 9mm? Figure a nice full size 9mm would be a good addition to my Glock 19.

    Thanks.

          Thanks.

I too heard SIG no longer makes these. Are the supplies running low or can I hold off (at lease for 30 days ) or maybe longer depending on funds?

Back in June ('07), I asked the Sig Rep who was in Ade's gunshop about the availability of the P226-ST. He said they are still going to offer them to CA only. I don't remember the guys name. This past Thursday, Ade also just ordered the last two 9mm P226-STs that Sigarms had in stock. I think he was asking for $835 each for them, and both are already sold. Not sure on availability of .40SW, but I would have your FFL call Sig and ask if there are any left.

Steve has that one listed as "Nickel" ?
He does list the 226ST on his site though...

              maybe he made a typo?

Sig is no longer making the P226ST. However, there seems to be plenty of stock out there. It clearly wasn't a great seller (Sig wouldn't discontinue a model that was flying off the shelves).
