Do You Still Have Your First?

My cousin offered to buy my XD from me the other day and I told him I would never sell it because it was my first. Anybody else have this feeling/love for their first?

Well, kind of? My first pistol was a Beretta 92FS. I didn't sell it but I did leave it with my dad so that they have some protection at home. Left my mom the mossberg 500 too, which was my first long gun. If they ever buy their own guns I'll take them back and keep them, otherwise I'm going to wait until they pass.

Ehh, as much as I like guns, it's stuff that Im not overly sentimental about.

I still have my first handgun, a Glock 35. It's still one of my favorites, too.

Not sure about being sentimental about it though. It's just a good gun.

my first is my favorite in my collection: Sig P229 w/ NS. i've bought many pistols since, but it is by far my go to HD pistol.

first handgun was a Kimber custom II, and yes i still have it.

I've never thought about it, I still have my first, but I'm not really into selling any of my guns.

My first is a Beretta 96 Elite II...God I love that gun...

I dont really remember how I settled on the thing, but I remember once I seen the first pic of it, I HAD to have it. Since it was already out of production, I searched high and low for one for months, and finally found a used one in mint condition for 650.

You can (try to) pry it out of my dead cold fingers if you want it in your safe...

Yep still got it and shoot it as much as I can afford. Its a Ruger GP100 4" stainless. I've up graded it with a HiViz front site Wilson springs and a trigger polishing. Love that gun it will be the last to go when I can't shoot anymore.

I still have my Mosin Nagant and I don't think I'd ever sell it because it probably isn't worth selling since I got it for $100.

Apart from that, I go through guns pretty regularly.

My Ruger SR9, I have pondered selling it but I don't I ever will. Hate the trigger but love the adjustable sights. 
