    crazy glock find

i went to my local FFL to price check rugar MK III's and ended up putting a gen 2 glock 19 on layaway and plan to pay it off slowly during the next few months, and still buy the MK III Saturday or Sunday. the reason for impulse buying the glock is that it is a early gen 2 with Austrian proof marks. but the most crazy thing about it is that the glock was manufactured in the same month and year of my birth ( march 1989) talk about a crazy find

Nice. Make sure it has had the factory upgrades (free from glock) as one that old was probably made before the internal safety upgrades.

What internal safety upgrades are you specifically referring to?? I wasn't aware glock had any upgrades along those lines.

Even then, the upgrades are mostly frame specific. With the exception of the loaded chamber indicator, the differences between gen2 and gen3 or not upgradable.

That's cool. A birth Glock. Too bad glocks weren't invented yet for me to find a birth Glock.
