It's made by romanian jypsies. It doesn't matter anymore who assembles it. Period.

I don't believe canted sights would be a concern on an AK with this short a barrel. Are you really going to line up a shot and subject yourself to that much of a flash or are you just going to aim in the general direction and scare the bejesus out of whatever might be downrange?
That being said, I'm having a bit of envy for this compared to my "full size" Draco w/ AMD65 muzzle brake.

That's pretty darn short. I've shot a custom build that had, I believe, a 6.5" barrel on it and it was lots of fun and pretty easy to handle. For $399 something this short would really be worth it.
Interesting choice they made with the hooded front sight, I've never seen that.Beretta PX4 Storm .40 S&W (Round Count 3,050) | Yugo M72 | Romy M44

Ugh typical CGN CAI haters. Have had 3 CAI AK patterns...Must be tough for CA owners to go to a store and fondle one so you know what you are getting. I have a standing challenge - My Romy AK vs whatever AK you have - Lunch and 40 rounds of ammo for the winner at SLOSA. If you want to ante up higher hit me up.USA**************************************************USA

I believe the big-boy Draco has a hooded front sight as well.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I would have paid for this gun had it been out when I was in the market for an AK pistol. If you are already buying a stupid gun/firestarter/night-blinder, you might as well ante up the $50-100 premium to get something really impractical.
