I just picked up my 357/38 Ranch Hand today. Its been a LONG wait!!! This thing is way cooler than i even thought it would be. Made very well and easy to hold in one hand. I also got to Fondle my Smith bodyguard 380. I have to wait for 20 more days before i can Dros the bodyguard

thanks everyone. I started wanting this gun last summer when rossi announced it. But after talking to the Ca doj(they said no way) i thought it was a pipe dream until i got on this sight and found out about PRK and other 07ffl dealers with a manufacturers license.They can legally sell single shot conversions and them put it back to stock after the sell. Which is why i could buy a non roster smith bodyguard 380 also. Unfortunately these are few and far between and no dealers across the country have them for very long. Gunbroker is getting a premium for them. I bought this one from Texas. The other problem is getting someone to ship to calif since they aren't on the roster.
I had it shipped to PRK and they dros'ed it for me.I probably paid a bit too much but i wanted one and was unsure if rossi will lose their lawsuit and these wont be available again. It was 500 shipped and another 100 to have it dros'ed as a single shot,plus 25 dros fee. If you want a non roster hand gun in calif it will cost you more than anywhere else in the country. Calif sucks for gun laws!!!!!
