Front Site Type Courses Near Sac

Can anyone recommend some "Front Site" type courses near Sacramento? My favorite part of the CCW course was the shooting part, but that was really just a taste. I learned a lot and realized that more practice would be great, and fun. You don't know what you don't know - but I'd like to find out some of what I don't know.

    Thanks

Yes I can. Stone Cobra Tactical www.stonecobratactical.com.

I have attendent Front Sight a few times, and Stone Cobra a few times. Stone Cobra splits their courses into 1 or 2 day weekend courses which fits around people's scheduels better. No need to burn vacation time. The courses are very affordable. If level one is offered one month, level two is usually offered the next.

I think you will really enjoy training with SCT. I know I do.

I took a class from TFTT a long time ago and really enjoyed it. They're up in Sacto this month: http://www.tftt.com/TFTT_Calander.htm

Team 3 Tactical has a couple of one-day tactical handgun courses scheduled at the Sac Shooting Center.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I recommend LMS Defense. They teach classes in the area.

If you want Front Sight style training just go to Front Sight!

From the recommendations and AAR's of other friends of mine, I'd definitely go to LMS Defense or SCT over FS any day.

I recommend Team 3 Tactical also, They offer classes in the East Bay and Sac. I have taken courses with them and Front Sight and several other local places.

Stone Cobra Tactical is 100% legit. I've done a LOT of training courses over the years (including FS courses), and I rank SCT very highly.

                          Here's an AAR/Review of a recent basic-level SCT course I took:

I don't pretend to be an "authority." I'm just a guy who trains a lot, shoots a lot and has a perspective.
