    Sig 1911 question

Does anyone know if the Sig 1911's marked "Sig Sauer 1911" on the slide, NOT "GSR" still uses all steel internals, or has Sig switched to MIM?

Sig used to state no mim but not anymore. They use the term premium parts. I guess that means some mim but I could not tell you which parts. 1911forum.com has a sig sub forum that has discussed it though.

By now they have about 3 gen of Sig 1911
1st : Have "GSR" only on the slide
2nd : Have "GSR" on one side of the slide, and "Revolution" on the other.
3rd : Have "1911" on the slide, this is the current model
They are now Sig 1911 traditional, which have "1911" on the slide, but the top of slide is round like most 1911, and not square like most Sigs pistols which i like.
And they all have "Sig Sauer" somewhere on the slide.
