Need some info on this H&K model

A guy I know is selling a 9mm H&K for a pretty good price ( I think ). The inside of the gun and magazine look new. He said he bought it new 10 to 12 years ago and only has about 100 rounds through it. I'm interested in it because I love how ugly it is. I'm not sure of the model, what it's worth, and if it is a decent gun. Please help me with any info you might have.

Looks like a VP70. IIRC, the first polymer pistol.

Its definitely cugly (cool & ugly) but the trigger pull is something else. At least on the few ive tried. if youre into hks its a cool piece. if the price is right its a nice piece to add to your collection but i wouldn't consider it in the same league as p7 or p9s.

For 300 that's a deal for a VP70 I think back in the day like 10-12years ago they were like 650-700ish. You can't beat a 18 round re-build kit.

Plus it was the gun Leon used in Resident Evil 2

The mags are 18 plus 1.

You will have to do a PPT since the gun is not on the list.

Perfectly legal to buy, except I don't think they make 10 rounders so unless you block the mags, or claim them as re-builds.
