Can't wait for the range report. Leaning towards the M&P 45, as I had a Glock 21 and it was a little too bulky for me. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but Glocks (24 & 27) at the moment. But for me, I think the M&P 45 would be a better fit.

Plain and simple it is a night and day difference, the DCAEK and RAM improves the pull, break, overtravel and reset.

I put the Apex DCAEK in my M&P 45 and it made a huge difference. It is supposed to be around 4.5lbs I think. Definitely can't go wrong with getting the kit.

Yeah I installed mine on last Friday evening - took about 2 hrs - and WOW what difference it made at the range next day! Mine is also 45 so RAM isn't available yet. However, even without the RAM, my reset feels just SO much better than stock. I was able to shoot about 3" groupings at 25yrds! Trigger pull is just so much smoother too, dunno why the stock trigger was so gritty. I absolutely love my M&P 45 now, and I look forward to getting RAM installed when Apex comes out with it.

...they don't put the extra work into final polish and finish to keep the price down, because there are a lot of folks who share this opinion:

...their choice was to go with the lower price and let the more discriminating user upgrade their gun on the aftermarket

Does this kit fix the lack of a reset feel/sound? My old M&P45 (bought and sold long before these kits were on the market) had absolutely no reset feel or audible feedback. If this kit does correct this, how is it compared to a Glock (which, IMO along with the 1911, has one of the best reset feel/audible feedback)?
