    Glock Gen question

I have a Glock 21 how do I tell what Gen. it is?
I see all these different Glocks listed as Gen 2, 3 etc just curious as to what mine might be.
I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I love the Gen 2 Glocks. I sometimes miss the accessory rail though.

I have a Gen2 Glock 19 and I like not having a rail. The gun has smoother lines without it.

                        I have one I bought in 1993

I can tell you the month and year with the first three letters of the serial number.

I prefer the GEN 2 Frames. Easy grip. By the way, Glock will upgrade that weapon no charge.

                        Have fun

Actually the SF (Short Frame) model has the exact same fore and aft measurements as the GEN 2 hand grip. I have a GEN 3 G21 as well. I have big hands so the finger grooves don't bother me. But for comfort I prefer my Gen 2 frame on my old G21.
