    Finally bought a PM9

After months and months of debating and weighing the pros/cons for a potential CCW weapon I finally purchased a PM9 with the blackened slide today. 10 days seems so far away, but with Easter this weekend I'm pretty sure I won't see a day off until then anyway. Gotta order a shell for it from Comp-Tac now... and get some 9mm.lol
p.s happy 700 post day to me.

You won't regret it. Awesome CCW gun. And my wife has that Comp-Tac shell too. Snappy and a lot of fun.

I've been eyeballing the PM9 too. But I don't live in a CCW county

        I really like mine.
First time I shot it, 1 inch group from 7 meters.
        Enjoy!

I got a PM40 in jail now. I'll post up a range report once I play with her at the end of the month.

I think I just like te idea of having one of the smallest .40s around.

Good purchase! I love my PM9. I have put 250 rounds through it so far with no issues yet. It can be snappy since its so small but perfect for CCW.

I have the CW9, but.........I just broke in my sisters PM9 for her. First I cleaned it really really good and then shot 200 rounds through it. I shot many magazines as fast as possible and not one feeding or extraction jam, not ONE. I am loving these Kahr products better all the time.

Take a lot of trips to NV or AZ and enjoy CCing until your county lightens up. Anyway it's a good excuse to go get that Kahr.

I have a P9 and like the feel and the weight carrying it, I have a CCW and it feels great but I am still learning how to control the little guy. I just learn last month to hold firm and forget trying to use the trigger pad of my finger – so now I just grip it and rip it.
My quick shots were better but nowhere near as good as my Glock 22,23,27 – I would like a smaller PM9 for the summer - but the smaller and lighter they get the harder they are to control.
                  Or is it just me?

Not just you... the smaller and lighter it is the less mass to dampen the felt recoil and the less surface area to maintain grip on the gun. Practice practice... I almost bought a PM40 to minimize calibers in my safe, but with 9mm being cheaper I'll practice more.

I dislike the muzzle flip of a 9mm and think I could control the recoil of a .40 better than flip of a 9mmI I simply got the 9mm because it was lighter to carry and would hold more rounds.
These small guns do take a different approach, I will keep at it. If I get the hang of the P9 I very well may go for the PM9, when you carry every oz. counts.
                      Congratulation and good luck.
