I gave up trying to find one for under $289 in Southern California and no one had one in stock.

Best price I've seen is through Whittaker Guns, $229.99 plus S&H. They tack on 3% for credit card orders. I paid just a buck or two over $250 delivered and had it in under a week.

Whittaker Country is an online retailer with over 35000 firearms, ammunition, optics, accessories and more.

I've been very happy with it. Works well on my Tactical

wow.. It looks very nice! I checked out the site already, and it is out of state. I dont want to deal with the FFL transfer and stuffs. If it is under $300 or a few bucks over, i am fine with it . But most places dont even stock them.

Don't worry about it - only the frame is what requires an FFL to transfer, the slide assembly does not. You should just be able to order it and have it delivered straight to your door.

Sounds like RollingCode3 is looking for a complete Kadet, not just the kit.

They're not on the CADOJ approved list, so can be hard to find in California. You might have better luck getting a CZ75 and a Kadet kit, then selling the original top-end. It makes it fairly expensive, though.

A good place to ask would be over at www.czforum.com. I picked up a local transfer on a CZ75 there once.

As was said, finding a complete Kadet will be very hard as it was never approved for California.

The top end does not require a FFL.

For me at about 10 yards on a fair day, they all stay within a dime sized hole. I'm not a very good shot.

A better person or as people like to brag on the forums, they could probably keep it to a single hole at 25 yards or further back.

As a lousy shot with cheap ammo, it groups very well. If I was better, it would group better.

My Kadet pistol (purchased before "the list") is the sure terror of soda cans out to 35 yds. I have not fully explored the accurate load preference for my pistol but it will group CCI Pistol Match (10 rds) reliably into a half dollar from a rest at 25yds. Win Power points and Rem Golden Bullet solids are not too much worse. Once I got past the defective firing pin the pistol is as reliable as they get with everything tried so far.
