Glock 19 3rd gen ejection issue

Ok. So first, I know at least ten people are gonna make some funny comment and then say I'm limp wristing, but before that even starts, let me say that my buddy, who has way more shooting experience than me (especially hand guns) had the same problem with my gun.

Now, for whats going on. My gun is pretty much brand new, it has 300 rds through it, and A LOT of those 300rds have come back and peppered me. When I watched my buddy shoot, it looked like the cases were just rolling out of the gun. I mean I'm getting brass in the face, on top of my head, over my shoulder, in the chest, you name it.

Ive shot 100rds of winchester white box 115gr.
and 200 rds of remington UMC 115 gr. (which made my gun pretty dirty BTW)

I've come across a lot of stuff online that shows this problem with the 4th gen 9mm glocks, but nothing really for the 3rd gens. My gun was made after the 4th gen though, I know because the clips I got are ambidextrous, with notches on both sides.

Could the gun just need some more "breaking in"? I realize I'm shooting cheap ammo, but could that be it?
could it be something wrong with the extractor?
any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks in advance.

    Has anyone

Taken the weapon down by removing, cleaning any of the slide parts.?.

They might have put the extractor plunger in backwards.

Has glock been known to do this that you know of?

Recoil spring could just be stiff because it's new. Try using hotter ammo. Winchester NATO, Sellier & Bellot, RWS.

Store it in your safe with the slide locked open for a week and then go shoot it, that should help a little.

            known probable causes:
check the extractor for burs and clear spring channel. do not lubricate.
            maybe the ejector.
            not the recoil spring.
            grip.

My FIL's gen 2 did this. He sent it back to Glock citing a safety concern with brass hitting him in the face and they completely rebuilt it at no charge, 15 years after he purchased the pistol. Flings brass at about 3:30 now.

My gen2 glock throws brass in my face and on my head. I'd say it's the gun and not you.

I have no idea what this means. lol

Today I put another 150 rds through, 50 of UMC, 100 of WWB. Wanted to buy something a little hotter but my walmart is in the middle of a remodel so their ammo selection is pretty skimpy. Its still flinging brass at me like crazy.

I think I may call glock in the morning just to see what they say about it, I'll be sure to update you guys after I talk to them.

I have a feeling something is fishy. Like maybe I got a part from a 4th gen in my 3rd gen or something. Like I said, they definitely gave me two 4th gen 10rd mags with the gun, because they have the dual cut-outs.

As for the guy asking for pics, I can't see how that would help you TOO much, but I may be able to post some up tomorrow (my day off), I'm way too lazy to bust out the gun and the camera right now lol.
                      Thanks for the feedback guys

Ok, So I called glock and the tech support guy said they couldn't tell me why it would be doing that without inspecting and shooting it. They want me to send it in, which takes 4-6 weeks turnaround time, and apparently I have to do it through an FFL because I'm in CA.

California sucks, remind me again why I live in this POS, liberal state ...

Here is a quote from glock's shipping instructions

                          "Residents of CALIFORNIA
Any work involving replacement of the receiver of a firearm requires that the firearm be returned to a licensed firearms dealer. A current signed copy of the dealer’s FFL as well as a copy of the dealer’s DOJ letter will be required. Please provide contact information for the chosen dealer, if applicable.
DO NOT ship high capacity magazines to us. They cannot be returned.
                          "
